A spinoff of The World of the End—not a sequel exactly—this was a scene that never made it into the movie that I just wanted to do. So I did it.

It was quite rewarding to return to animation after a multi-year hiatus. If only lip-sync had gotten easier in the interim.

Response has been good so far. I think the festival circuit just finds it easier to accomodate a 3-minute cartoon than a ponderous 19-minute drama. Who knew?
