Elizabeth Ascot, for reasons still not fully explained, has cultivated a near-perfect Natalie Portman impression. One day she made that known, and as a result, she became the first person cast and recorded for Run Leia Run, her debut fan film role. Elizabeth is very active in the fan community, writing fanfic and lending her voice where needed. She delivers a flat-out stunning performance in the lead role of Amidala in the audio drama Rise of Nobility. She has also performed as Amidala for Coruscant? and A Summer's Dream. In 2004 she received Fanworks Fan Audio Awards in the People's Choice categories for Best Actress in an Audio Parody, Best Portrayal of an Established Film Character and Best Actress in an Audio Drama. Oddly enough, she shares a birthday with Natalie Portman.
