Mary was more or less the obvious choice for the role of Jenny Jade in Young Jedi: High School Student. She had the right kind of look, the right kind of voice, and she was even a Star Wars fan.

While the original intent was to mix up the casting of The Cellar Dwellers a bit, we ended up choosing Mary for the lead role again. Some of this was based on her singing voice, even though the musical sequences were never even recorded! This character stretched her talents a bit. She even got to scream. Really, really loud.
