A graduate of Northwestern University's theater program, Carolyn's past works include a workshop of "The Oedipus Complex" with Oscar- and Tony-winner Frank Galati, and a spot in the world premiere cast of "The Peckenpaw". Chosen to play the narrator of Love: The Movie after a series of recasts, rewrites and regenderings, Carolyn left an impression on all involved, and a couple of years later, the project The World of the End was conceived, written and directed specifically as a starring vehicle for her, the first time this has happened in GIHB history. She reprised the role (another GIHB first) for Madison's Résumé. Carolyn is also talented with the pen and serves as the head writer, as well as a performer and director, with the Odonata Dance Project. Her piece "Aspiration: Housewife", featured at the 2006 NYC Fringe Festival, has been featured in Time Out New York and MOSAIC. |
