It is not the custom for students enrolled in RTVF 381 (Video Production) at Northwestern University to make twenty-minute narratives spanning multiple cities, employing professional actors, honest-to-God police officers and the occasional wheelchair.

This did not bother Dave Holstein.

He approached Guy in his Basement Productions to help him. As the half of Guy in his Basement Productions taking this class had no better ideas for a project, he agreed. A hectic shoot ensued, but we created one of the most ambitious 381 projects in recent memory.

This is the first film to carry the Basement name with one of our core GIHB personnel as a producer only, rather than a "creative" force. We nonetheless feel that it embodies the spirit of the company. Because we made a movie, and no one stopped us.
